Might be the case.... but, you apparently have more than one problem..... See what happens with the O2 sensor. Generally, if it runs fine for the first two minutes, and then starts acting up, that points to the O2. If it does it immediately, probably won't fix it. You can test that by simply disconnecting the O2 sensor, and see if it drives any better.

Took out my front o2 sesnor last night.. the peraon who put in the new pipes broke the end part off the front sensor...

The shop told me when I paid them that there are supposed to be 3 sesnors total and that I only had one. I crawled under there and seen two total. Got new part in and putting it together tonight.

Unless you have california emissions, there should be only two.

Ill take it out for a test ride and when given gas its still bogging like its having a misfire.. not much power. the idle is great! ive had all plugs redone, had to organize the fire correctly, new 02 sensors. sensors are good. i dont have any codes thrown at me.

they had fire order in wrong. each plug was in the wrong spot going into the distributor. the fire order is 165432 and they had it 156423. which to me is a damn guess they did.

when i first went down to take it to the shop i had an 02 sensor code going like crazy so i actually bought o2 sensors or it and told em to put it on. they told me that they are good to return my parts so i did... well when i paid a month later he tells me im missing 2? when i crawl under there and can easily see two.. i regret taking it there thats for damn sure thats $1200 i could have in my pocket but them idiots screwed me over.

When mine was exhibiting behavior like that, it was a failing crank sensor. Under 2K RPM, it would run fine. Get over that, and it would miss, backfire, and power would fall off like a stone from a cliff. (and the CEL would be flashing at may as well....)

Will it do the same thing in neutral, sitting still? Or only under load?
