Default Excessive throttle cable slack

Awhile back I had the cruise get stuck on full throttle anyways I now have 2 inches of slack at the pedal the pedal basically sits on the floor. How do I go about fixing this is the cable hung up some how anything would help guys.

Some slack is normal but if it's too much it's probably time for a new throttle cable.

Well it was perfect before the cruise got stuck no slack at all then the cruise got stuck its like the cable is bound up show I be able to pull all slack out of the opposite ends with it still attachés through the pedal etc because I can't remove all the slack

Could be fraying within the housing. As it frays , it stretches. Only guessing tho.

Put a brick on the pedal, to hold it on the floor, check and see if you throttle plates are all the way open, if they are, don't worry about it. If they aren't, disconnect the cable, and see if it is binding somewhere, or broken. If it doesn't feel right, replace it.

If the cable all checks out and is in good condition you can do the zip tie trick around the cable and pedal to take out the extra slack... I dont think these trucks have a factory adjustment but i could be wrong.
