Engine balance ?

Instead of starting another thread i will use this one ! Will a 180 deg thermostat cause my truck to not build enough heat in the motor to make power or does it need a 195 ? I did swap a 5.2 in place of the 5.9 but also did 4.56s but kept the 5.9 pcm ?

180* tstat won't hurt anything unless you are in a cold climate.

Keeping the 5.9 pcm will most likely make the engine run rich, better check your O2 sensor readings. Running too rich will dilute the engine oil, clog the cat, and hurt fuel economy.

Once the engine goes into closed loop, O2 sensors will correct mixture. No worries.

It has no cat and dummy O2 sensors !

You actually want at least the front O2 sensor. Engine runs far more efficiently with it.

Are they the same sensor front or rear ? I have one i got with a parts buy last yr !

Would i benefit any gain with a tb spacer ? Flat road is smooth but pulling up hills is really hard !
