Odessa EQ Monster Head upgrade
I have a 2001 dodge 5.9 4x4. I'm looking for some of opinions on the following upgrades and have a couple questions. My heads have cracked, so looking at top end upgrade. Everything on bottom end will be stock for now.
odessa heads with 2.02/1.62 valves

hs adjustable 1.7 roller rockers (using adjustables for future mods)
hughes plenum fix kit
Now the questions.
1. Should i buy hardened pushrods for these heavy duty springs or wait for bigger cam?
2. How do you think this will effect MPG? I still drive this vehicle about 150-200 miles a week.
3. How much do you think this will improve performance?
4. New throttle body? If so, what is your opinion on sizes, brand, Where to buy.
5. Would i need a tuner with this mod?
If I've missed anything opinions/questions or other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What future mods did you have in mind?
You will be choking those heads with the stock intake, and exhaust... if you plan on replacing those in the future.... might wanna consider doing it NOW instead.
Go for the hardened pushrods now. Your valve train will like you better.
Check out some of the 50mm TB's on Ebay. They will be more than enough for the kegger intake.
Tuner? Maybe...... not much else is changing.... so, see what happens?
