Talking turbocharged gas job

Who here has a turbocharged gas job? I'm curious to know how its done and the cost....2g setup

I'm leaning more towards the bigger trucks, such as a 1500 or 2500 with a 5.9l or ever the v10. I've seen them supercharged but just never with a turbo.

I think the process for a 1500 or plus sized truck would be pretty similar to the Dakota. There are supercharger kits, they can be hard to find, but they're out there.

you can PM msdnga and he can give you the parts list. I think he stopped his speed shop stuff about 4 or 5 years ago.

He did it with a rear mounted turbo. I would go only 4 PSI unless you are adding rod bolts, head bolts (ARP for both) and redoing your piston rings. You will need new injectors, a 2 bar MAP, a tuner (Both the person and the object) and about a year of trial and error to get it right.

If you have over 80K miles, you should rebuild the entire engine before doing this.
