Keep in mind even a fuse can pass a weaker current over time-cheap to just replace-we had a delivery truck with turn signal issues-started with testing the fuses of course and moved on totally dissecting the wires hunting a short---said f it replaced the fuse ( even though it looked good) and bam fixed

Hmmm maybe I should try this, Ill try swapping with a known good from somewhere else and see if the problem follows. Looking at it, it looked intact, no issues with it.

The fuse is a must easy change 1st, but it sounds exactly like my issue. I got a ODB link and Torque pro and the voltage graph was not reading right. Instead of paying $100+ to have it read by a professional scanner, I opted for the $245 PCM. I've only ran it for 40 miles but no CEL.

Unplug the front O2 and run it. Just unplug the electric side and leave it in the bung. See if the truck runs better without the stalling. It should...if the PCM goes into set mode which it should. You'll get more codes, but you can erase and see codes easy in the dash/battery disconnect.

Mine is a 2001 2500 5.9L. Same issues. 132/138. Mine started eratic but after a while was putting those codes up everytime the engine hit the loop. Dash gauge temp around 140.

I bet its the PCM. I'm betting the PCM is sending high voltage to the O2's. That would make the truck run ultra rich at times. I cant verify it with my testing on my truck, but so far so good with the remaned PCM.

Good luck

Offroad wont have anything to do with the computer. A computer from a 98-01 1500 5.9 or 98-02 2500 5.9 should work fine.

Now oddly enough i cleared my code and it hasnt come back after 3 days. I am wondering if the cold does it?

I got the PCM from All Computer Resources. They are on ebay with a 99.6% rate with thousands sold. I couldn't find the correct one listed(they are $269 model), so I just called them and ordered it for $245.

Off road models "usually" pertain to suspension upgrades.

They'll get the VIN from you and know exactly how your truck was built and program it for your truck.

I'm over 100 miles now and its finally running as it should have after I rebuilt the engine. I'm waiting till Tuesday to send my original back, but I think I'm in the clear.
