gas light
Mine has to be pretty low before it comes on, and stays on..... below an eighth of a tank, it's getting into the red part of the gauge. Of course, that means there is still six gallons of gas in there.
I was wondering how many gallons I had left the other day because I have a 26 gal tank in my truck and I was low on gas and light came on and my oldman was becoming overly dramatic because he thought we were about to run out of gas because the gas light came on. I was like we can still drive like 20 miles still before we run out but I never thought there is still almost 6 gal in the tank still when the gas light comes on.
I usually fill it up when it hits half a tank because $40 bucks is a hell of a lot cheaper than dropping $85 bucks into the tank.

Yep, mine comes on at 1/8 tank. I have been using the filler up at 1/2 empty strategy aswell. Like jholaway I'd much rather drop $40 than $80 and I'd much rather run on a full tank than always nearly empty.

That's what I was thinking. I never really knew if that was a normal Dodge thing. Haha, I mean, today I drove roughly 100 miles and used just between 1/8 and 1/4 from the full mark, which for the 5.2 auto, isn't too bad at all.

I have noticed that mine pops on once it has touched the E and then I have about 6 gallons left. Build sheet says I have a 35 gallon tank so I can go about a month (8-10 miles a day) before the gas light comes on.
