I need to replace the u-joints on my rear drive shaft. Engine=390 stroker (will be here soon), transmission - Megaviper - Rear 3.91 with Detroit trutrac. Current ones are probably factory originals with over 270000 miles on them. The parts manual gives V8014733AA which appears to be a Mopar Performance greasable alternative, but I want to make sure whatever I purchase can withstand the power and torque of the new motor. Any suggestions?

Get the best quality greasable joint you are willing to spend the money for. Then, keep them greased.

 

Get moogs problem solver series. I have a 360 and I tossed one of the caps on the joints at the trans and it didn't damage the joint at all. Not even a scratch. They are greasable and Not too expensive. I got mine off rockauto.
