I pulled out the upstream 02 sensor, and the truck didn't run any better. Alot louder. Lol. But it actually started running worse. So I put the sensor back in andbi disconnected the battery to reset the code. Now, its running bad. Every time the rpms go down, it stalls... as of right now, if I can't diagnose the problem myself and fix it, I gotta bring it in for a service in the morning, and thats something I don't wanna do. As for this site,I gotta say, it is amazing. I really love that good guys come together to help one another. Hopefully, there comes a time when I could help someone with some knowledge I have... DF ROCKS

PCM probably needs to re-learn idle, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if the throttle body wasn't in need of cleaning. Start the truck, and hold your foot on the gas at about 1K rpm for a couple minutes. See if it figgers out how to idle the truck again.

when my battery was testing low under a load, it would stall randomly but only when coming to a rolling stop. i got a new battery and then she was idling high..around 12 hundred...which is high. eventually it worked its way to 600. normal. try charging your battery or get a new one for the stall issue. that maybe it. and this forum is awesome. always someone who to help. stick around man. ive learned allot from these guys

Another thing to check. look for blue smoke on first start up after sitting overnight. If you get blue, it maybe your valve guide seals are toast. To check for worn valve guides, hook up a vacuum gauge to an intake port..look for a flicking needle.
