Default scraping and groaning at low speeds

So recently I have been hearing a scraping sound coming from the front when driving down the road and especially when I am going around a curve in either direction at 15-20 mph. It also groans and vibrates really bad when I am at a low speed and when I am turning too. I just recently replaced the pads in the front (yes it was done correctly) and I noticed that the passenger side rotor was ate up pretty bad but not into the fins. I have been thinking wheel bearing but I am also thinking it could just be the rotor. It is now also starting to do the famous high pitched squeal when coming to a stop. Also when I hit my brakes this all goes away except for the squeal. But at low speeds again I barely tap my brakes and it will make it vibrate and groan. Help please!!

Replace the rotors, and while you are in there, check the wheel bearings.

Alrighty. The passenger side wheel bearing shouldnt be bad because it was replaced a year ago. I also tried moving both of the wheels from the the 12 and 6 o clock angles and they didnt have play in them.

Spin the tires, see if the bearings feel crunchy, or notchy.

I did that and they felt fine. The only thing is that the side that the bad rotor is on did sound kind of different. It was a few weeks ago so I forgot what it exactly did. lol

Change the rotors then, and see if that solves it.

Would it be okay to just change the messed up rotor first and then probably a week or two later change the other one? Or will it pull to the side that the new one is on?

Depends on how bad the other side is. Test it a couple times to see what your brakes are going to act like when you step on them hard. Best to know that BEFORE you figure it out in a panic stop.

When my wheel bearing was bad it only screeched during low speed sharp turns.

Do both rotors. Not smart to do just one.

^Agreed with Ham Bone thats what mine did. Might be a bad u-joint somewhere?
