Default Misfire towing boat

I am having misfires when its warmer out or when use the a/c and pulling my boat. My 2000 5.2 has new cap & rotor, plug wires and plugs and coil.
When driving from N. Ga where the temp was 34 to S. Fl where the temp was 80
I had no problems until about Orlando when I started using the a/c the tach started jumping 100 to 200 rpm and shortly after that it started misfiring and running poorly. I made it to a rest area and when it cooled down about 15min it was running fine again. It has happened a few times now not always when using the a/c but when it is warmer out side. After it cools down for about 15min it runs fine again.

Sounds like a couple problems. The 200 RPM bounce is possibly a bad TPS, if you are getting random cylinder misfire, I would have a long hard look at the crank sensor.

Welcome to DF!
