I just put all upper and lower ball joints in and I insisted on all Moog parts. After reading this I'm glad I did.

totally understand but with the major price difference in say the advanced auto brand and the higher end stuff its almost double. like me im replacing everything steering under the truck at one time that can get VERY pricy almost double, so I for sure see peoples reasons for getting the store brand. but im learning to search around the net and get way better prices on moog and other top brand parts.

most of the time moog is 10 -15$ difference. did you buy them through the garage or right from the parts store. garages will charge more if you get them to order them. i know my shop we charge 12% on our cost of the part

I get my parts from the normal 3 chain stores (Auto Zone, O`reilys, Advanced), I do that cause I get military discounts and that helps out. Dealers don't offer crap for discounts. ive been around auto shops all my life and know full well most of them mark up parts, that's why I get my own. but now a days you can go on ebay and places like that and find brand names for the same price and cheaper than the cheap store brands. my ball joints from ebay was 8 bucks cheaper than the Advanced auto brand.. Live and learn.

Default done and having fun

well got all the front end stuff done. and all is working well. Went out with the family playing on the trails this weekend and it did great. go check it out at the yt links below. it was crazy, I was the only dodge and truck on the mountain that day. there was at least 30 jeeps. I did scrape and bend the under side of my nerf bars but all was good. you can hear my wife screaming that made it better.

thanks' for the help all

Advanced auto will price match rockauto if your in a pinch and need the part ASAP. I prefer though to order from rockauto. The match only works if you do it over the phone in store the people won't do it.
