Been having trouble with my check gauges light coming on then the volt meter stops working and every so often the speedometer will stick. Any ideas?

See if it is the gauge, or if you are actually having charging issues.

Battery connections are good, new battery and terminals and it's been doing it for awhile now and the battery hasn't died so I'm pretty sure charging system is good

May be as simply as a bad connection at the back of the cluster.

What is your volt gauge saying when the lite comes on?
