1997 ram 1500 wont start

Angry 1997 ram 1500 wont start

my 1997 dodge ram 1500 wont start I know water went from the fuel tank it bogged and died and after this it would only run at idle when you start it cold if you go to give it gas it dies and now it wont start at all

it wont start can cover so many symptoms. Need more to go on.

Does it turn over?
does it just click loudly?
Does nothing happen at all.

need fuel air and spark to run an engine. From what you said about water it sounds like you have a fuel issue. Did you purge or clean the system somehow?

like i said, need more to go on.

Probably isn't as simple as this but do make sure the battery cables are tight and clean.

yes it still turns over and when it wants to run it kinda has a clunking sound to it has spark and is getting fuel and I did not clean the system

water in fuel. water settles in the bottom of the tank pump picks it up.

Not understanding the water going through the fuel thing--did you submerge the truck?

Water can easily get into a gas tank. No matter how hard you try to prevent it
