Default Hood Hinges

Need to replace mine, and as my luck would have it both my local salvage yards are stripped clean. Any other year/make/model that work? Otherwise it seems like ebay or craiglist are my only options.... Any way to make the hinges to down and bypass coil?

Erm, what year truck are you working on? Sig says 06, that's third gen. (if it's a full size...)

1) rock auto. com
2) custom pull off hood only, meaning 4 pins like a drag style
3) surf the yards and the net till you find em

Best bet is option 1

What do you mean by "Any way to make the hinges to down and bypass coil"?
Are you looking to remove the springs?
I did it on my Dakota and added lift arms like a van rear hatch.

Ok, sorry guys my sig is off. Its a 99 ram 1500.

So first off rock auto doesn't seem to have hinges, first placed i checked of course and they only have hood panels?

Next is its kind of funny you mentioned LKQ because out big recycler here in the cities was just bought by them. Will check them out.

Last its hard to explain what i mean but prior owner drove with the hood not latched and it flew up bending the hinges. I barley got the hood to open the 2-3 times i did but it further bent them making the hood not close able. So yesterday i was trying things and cut out the 3 arm at the back of the hinge since that was what was bent but that arm also is what actions the coil on closing so no it just a mess. I removed them and the hood is just resting on the truck at the moment.

LMC Truck should have the hood hinges, if you can`t find any at a wrecking yard.
