Default transmission question

Will a 360 transmission work behind a 318? If so what do I have to change? Both are automatics and 4 wheel drives.

Transmissions don't interchange. You need a 46RH, the 2000 is a 46RE. The 46RE will bolt up, but there's no practical way to make it work in your truck because of the differing electronics.

Arde is right. The 95 has mechanical governor and the 2000 is electronic control.
You need 95 or earlier 46rh transmission.
