will 35s fit?
Got a 98 1500 sport 4x4 and I need tires. It's got 3 inch lift in the back and 2 and half in the front currently running 33x12.5x15. Should I be able to fit 35s with the same dimension without rubbing? The rear definitely clears but I'm not so sure about the front
Front may rub on the control arms, regardless of lift.... without enough lift, you may hit the inner fender well in back, or the bumper in front when turning. See if the shop will test-fit the tire for you. See how much room ya got. General suggestion for 35's is 5 inches though......
Depends on usage. If you plan to offroad at all then no. If its strictly highway/city, you can make them fit with the right offset. I personally would recommend a 5 inch lift, or add a 2 inch body lift.
I am running a 2" lift on my truck with 35x12.0 the tires rubbed a little on the plastic fender guard, so i cut those up, no more rubbing there. As for the arms, you can sometimes hear it if i do a big drop down. Other than that it works fine for me.
My Local shops only have up to 33s so I have to order from tire rack, so test fitting is out. It seems like the best idea is to just stick with the 33s. I still need a few paychecks for tires though. I'd really like to run 35s though
