Default running rough, o2

So, I have a 1998 ram 1500 with a 318, I deleted the cat ran true duals, hooked both o2 sensors up on the right bank, and ran glasspacks. My truck burns oil, not the plenum it's got a Hughes kit. It's the rings and valves, but I've been putting o2 sensors in it once every couple months, and it runs like a complete bag when the sensors bugger up, is there a way to prevent this other than changing the motor because currently that's not an option. I did a 5 speed swap and when I'm driving down the road it'll shutter and partially die randomly, so it's hard on my clutch. Would it fix this issue just to take the sensor out and zip tie it to my frame as a temp fix until I finish my motor to drop in? Thanks.

How do your plugs look? Are they getting oil fouled? How much oil are you burning?? How many miles on the engine? Done a compression, or leakdown test? There are lots of reasons the engine will run like doggy doo doo..... both mechanical, and electrical.

Can't you do the non fouler trick and get them out of the exhaust flow?

Crank Sensor? Mine ran like that (buck at highway speeds and rough idle and die) and the sensor fixed it. mine does not burn oil tho so maybe yours is more serious.
