Default rod bearings

alright guys. I want to change my oil pump and do some bottom end stuff. really I need to change my connecting rod bearings. here's my question, can I complete my rod bearing change with the engine still in the truck or is that something I have to have the motor out for. I know I can do my rear main with the engine in, and that's my main focus

You can do it in the truck ! I did rods and mains in mine a few yrs back ! Just pull the pan and rotate it to get to every rod bearing !

4 wheel drive, you can drop the pan without lifting the motor. 2wd, gotta lift the motor a bit.
