the link on a reg.4x4 is straight, where the ore is straight on top where it connects to the sway bar and at a angle where it connects to the axle..

Sounds like the way mine is setup on my '96 Ram 2500 4x4. The bottom is a right angled ball joint type of connection at the axle and the top is straight. I had no issue finding replacement sway bar links at my local Pep Boys. I do recall that there were two different styles of sway bar links - ones like mine and straight ones.

You can't find one for it because there aren't any special pens for the ORE. they are all the same.
Really HB? That's definitely incorrect info.

OP and Veterans here -- Ever think to put "sway bar size" in the search bar?

I do have recent pics posted in Corbo's thread of my front steering. Shows the sway bar to a certain extent. It's in the Gen Discussion subforum.

Based upon those photos, looks to me as if 2WD trucks use the straight sway bar link setup and 4WD trucks use the lower 90 degree ball joint style sway bar link setup.

Perhaps the OP has been looking at the incorrect year sway bars at the JY? 94-97 end links are different than 98-01. See here for pics:

Where are you located? I think I have an extra sway bar laying around somewhere.

It did come off of a 2500 4x4. Looked the same as mine. Had the straight with the lower 90 degree end link.
