Can someone with an ore post up a pic of theirs next to a stock one? Part numbers? If its an upgrade I wonder if they would swap? If I just don't understand and they are the same disregard this commen.

 

The top one is from a 2001 offroad edition, the bottom from a 1995 4x4. I have one from a 2002 2500 that is the same as the 1500 ORE. I'm thinking from 98 to 2001 the sway bars are all the same on 4x4's

 

What caused this design change? Is one better than the other? Sorry not trying to thread jack just curious.

The top one is my style. Unfortunately i remember now that i sold it along with my front axle a while back.

So expand your search in junk yards to later model trucks. Maybe 99-01? Or even back to 98ish.

Im interested in how that bottom sway bar mounts to the axle. Is the axle the same as mine and it has a fancy way to bolt, or is the axle bracket physically different.

 

In my opinion both are the same, I've heard many times from manufactures, we don't make money on the machine but replacement parts. So I bet they changed it just so parts don't interchange.

i have been to alot of auto salvage yards and the 98,99,2000 are totally different from my 2001 ore set up...
