Default Rear end click

I have a click which seems to be coming from my rear axle I've replaced all 7 u joints iv had them go out before and it sounds exactly the same as a worn u joint but I'm having trouble finding the source of the sound

Jack it up, and run it a bit. (carefully) see if you can isolate the noise.

i had the same problem in my diff..i changed the oil which was in bad shape by the way.i used royal purple diff.fluid...it worked because it does not click anymore...i did find some small pieces in the magnet..but i checked the ring gear and it looked good..go figure.

Thanks I bought the truck a little over a year ago im slowly fixing things that I find. I'll try changing the fluid I need to change the gasket anyway so I'll have a look and see what I can find out
