can i fit 37 without scrubbing
I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 4x4 it has a 3 inch body lift and 3 inch coil spring spacers and i am thinking about buying a 5 in rough country lift and keeping the body lift will they fit but if it will almostfit could some 2 inch spacers amd the 5 inch lift work without the 37 scrubbing i want to run them on 15x10 wheels and the tire i want to be 37 12.5 15
With just the lift (5") and the body lift, you get total of 8"s, which is more than enough for 37's. keep the backspacing on your wheels right around 4", and you shouldn't have too much rubbing issues. Maybe on the lower control arms at full lock. (you can adjust the stops on your axle so it doesn't turn quite that far....)
Keep in mind though, 37's are going to be tough on your axles, and you are going to want at LEAST 4.56 gears for those, otherwise, the trans will hate you, and take a dump. If you do any hard wheelin' with the stock axles, you WILL break things. Just the nature of the beast.
