Default boosted 360 questions

Im in the early process of building my 360, I was planning on building a carbed 408 stroker motor with somewhere in the range of 10:1 compression. A local shop has a P1SC procharger with all the mounting brackets, belt, 2 pulleys (one puts 5 lbs and the other 12) supplemental fuel system to keep up with it, fuel pump controller, blow off valve, and a msd boost timing master that I can get for an awesome price. Has anybody on here ran a procharger on their motor before? what other stuff would need to be done? I already have the forged crank and rods, would the 10:1 pistons work? or would I need to go lower on compression? Im just trying to figure out the best way to go about it.

Stock ratio is what, 9.1:1? If the kit was designed for a 360 with factory internals I would be a little nervious about getting engin knock.

But I don't know to much. hopfully somone with experiance will chime in, I enjoy these boosted threads and always hope to see somone do it and hear feedback.

Also would a blow thru carb that is built to run a blower work? same concept right? more fuel as boost builds with rpm?

Ok I've been talking to him about it and he said he had it on a stock motor with stock injectors. The fuel system that comes with it has an auxiliary pump that goes in the main line and ups the pressure to feed more thru the stock injectors and dialing it in with that pump. Not needig a tuner, the PCM doesn't even know anything is happening. He said with the smaller pulley it would build about 5-6 psi by 2500ish rpm and be at 12-13 by 5k. Not sure how that would work out with towing. If I'm right (correct me if I'm wrong), having the right cam building power in the bottom end and the charger carrying it up top would be ideal. I'm still going to go with the 408 so idk if I'll need a bigger injector or not with this fuel system?

10 to 1 is too much compression for a blower on gas.

Or lower.....

Wonder how that system deals with the MAP sensor. Stock is a 1 bar..... (atmospheric pressure, down to zero...) As the blower will pressurize the manifold, as far as the PCM is concerned, there will be zero vacuum...... no idea how it will interpret that....
