Got everything fixed up. Found the proper fuse under the hood. I'm assuming that one blew when I was trying to get the flasher out. I saw a spark from the old flasher, the casing was cracked on it. Went and put a new fuse under the hood and the new flasher in by the dash and everything is back to normal. Thank you guys for all the help.

 

Wonder if you got the wrong flasher unit from the parts store.
