Pics don't seem to want to work either...

yes, pull the IAC, clean the bore.

Intake: You don't. If there is a fair bit of oil down there, time to yank the intake, and fix the plenum.

Looked like blowby smoke coming out of loose valve cover on the smoke video. Sid'nt notice the sputtering sound, seemed kind of normal sounding.

Ok after doing some image searches I am thinking the plenum gasket needs replacing so I will start taking it apart tomorrow.

I know that the plenum gasket can cause a false code on MAPS so I am thinking I may not change that just yet. Worst case scenario I have to take the throttle body off again and that just means another throttle body gasket for $1.50. What I am wondering is whether there is something else I should be doing while I replace the plenum gasket?

I am wondering about replacing the thermostat or if I should do the spark plugs or if there is something else that may have been impacted by this that I should go ahead and take care of while I have it all apart?

Check the end all, be all, plenum thread for additional suggestions. Short list:

Distributor cap.
Rotor.
Plug wires.
Plugs.
Thermostat.
Timing chain and gears. (it's only a few more bolts, 20 bucks in gaskets, and somewhere around 50 bucks for the timing set. Double roller please, not simply a 'stock' replacement.)

Don't "just" replace the plenum gasket, get the aluminum plate too. Or, use shorter bolts for the plate, or... just cut the nipples off the end of the existing bolts. Loc-Tite blue on the plenum bolts.

I got the intake manifold off and the plenum gasket was gone. I am posting some videos of what I found so you gan provide any addition recommendations to me.

The first video is inside the engine (?) where the oil looks a little watery to me and it is definately dark. We just had an oil change so I am a little concerned. Any recommendation on what if anything to do to treat this?

the next video shows the underside of the plenum plate showing the ruptured gasket.

Finally showing the top of the plenum plate and the inside of the intake manifold.

You are just about always going to get some coolant into the oil when you pull the intake. So, that doesn't really come as a surprise. Be sure and change it when you have it all back together.

Your plenum was most certainly blown.

Great! I was hoping it was that simple.

I removed the serpentine pulley from the alternator bracket in order to get to the last bolt to remove the alternoator bracket. Does anyone know if there is a specific torque I should use to reattach the pulley?
