You are going to have some serious issues running that kind of backspacing. You will get rub long before you get to full steering lock, in both directions.

Why would you want that much backspacing in any event?

Erm, what are you driving? So far as I am aware, all the second gen trucks ran 4.25 (or thereabouts) backspacing.

What year?? 12V indicates pre-98..... in which case, if you have steel wheels, backspacing was 4.75", can't find info for aluminum wheels? Where they even an option?

Newer (2000-2002) forged aluminum wheels were 6.25" backspacing..... (or, 6.20, depending on where you look....)

Which wheels ya got?

Steel wheels? Should be 4. 3/4 backspacing then.
