One of my friends was having a problem with the A/C low pressure switch on their truck and wanted to see how to replace it themselves. So I acquired one of the HAYNES manuals for the year range on the model of truck. I have no idea if I am blind or what but I could not find anything in there showing me the correct way to remove and replace that switch. Just wanted to know if anyone could tell me how it can be done properly. (Note: He ended up taking it to a mechanic but is still curious, I am as well, as to how it is done.)

 

Old switch simply unscrews from the fitting, screw the new switch on, plug in the electrical connector, and you are done.
