When I start my truck and put it in drive it shifts to second fine but when in second gear it drives fine until it reaches about 2500 rpm the rpm goes up but the truck ain't going anywhere until I shut it off and start it back up it does the same thing every time could it be the tranny filter or maybe a sensor plz help thank

 

What year is your truck? What engine? I assume an auto trans.....
