So did the TV cable NOT fix it then?

Sounds like you are in limp mode. could try unplugging the 8 pin connector, and going for a drive. You will have to shift manually, and you won't get TCC or O/D, so, don't go far. If that works fine, replace the governor pressure sensor and solenoid.

Where would I find that? I'm not a mechanic by any means. I can change the oil, Nd put gas in it. Not much more. I'm going to my brother in laws shop monday so hopefully we can figure this problem out.

Plug is on the drivers side of the trans, about halfway back. 8 wires. Plugs straight down into its female counterpart, right above the valve body.
