Default Abs Relay missing/ Horn problem

Ok I was trying to fix my horn and I realized that the Abs relays were both missing out of my relay box?
Why would anyone take those out of there? is there a problem with the abs system and they just bypassed the entire thing?

Also I am trying to fix my horn, I put power to it directly and I go nothing, when I hit the button on the wheel I hear a clicking sound coming from inside the horn. My thoughts are that the horn is getting power but it isnt doing anything, (bad horn).

also what are guys using as a gasket for the cheap ebay CAI?

do you have tail lights and instrument gauge lights? also yellow 20 amp fuse in fuse box in cab. Also bracket that holds horn/ horns acts as ground, check if tight. But if you ran wire directly from battery and no sound , sounds like bad horn

ABS relays will only be there if you have 4 wheel ABS.

Theres a box in the middle of my cab that says abs, doesn't that mean there is abs on the truck?
It has basically every option available in 97 I don't see why they would chinse out on abs brakes.

Ill check the fuses today.

Check your front wheels. See if there is a wire going to each front hub. If those are there, then you have 4WAL, if you don't find 'em, then you have RWAL..... RWAL systems are MUCH simpler.

Well that's not entirely true, they have at least a RWAL brake system.

I don't think I have 4wl abs. The box I saw in my truck says SRS haha not abs. It doesn't look like anything was ever in the abs relays no dust or anything.

I fixed the horn, turns out the horn itself was bad so Im happy about that

If the truck has rear wheel abs putting 1 ton cylinders on there would that make the breaking better? without abs wouldnt it just lock up faster?

The RWAL on these trucks suck ***** anyway. I don't even know if my ABS actually works... the light isn't on, but, I can lock the rears without any trouble at all. (unloaded 3/4 ton....)

I have the 95' Ram Van 250 - the ABS light on the center dash stays lit all the time. I do not have metal contacts in the #5 fuse box slot which is labeled for ABS.

I will look behind the front hubs for wires in a minute but can someone confirm that this means I do not have ABS... also please comment why my ABS light on the dash stays lit and also... what else may be causing my front right brake to grab randomly after 30 minutes of continuous driving please?

thanks.
