Default Identify this part?

I need help identifying this electrical connector. I'm replacing the front bumper and headlights on my 01 1500 Laramie and found these attached to the frame when I removed the headlight assembly. There is one on each side, they're not for the headlights or fog lamps so I'm lost. It appears they have some sort of blank they're plugged in to and the wiring is wrapped in the same harness with the headlights.

Any ideas?

It looks like a headlight connector if you were using the dual headlights found on Sport model trucks.

I would like to go with the sport headlight so I'm hoping that's what they are. The one not being used in the "blank" connector attached to the fame has 4 wires where as the headlight connector only has 3. Would that be correct? I guess I could turn the lights on and see if there is any voltage on them. What would I need besides the headlight to convert to the sport lights?

You would need the headlight and possibly may have to modify the fender opening to accommodate the depth of the sport headlight. I suspect that since you have a later model 2nd gen truck, the fender opening may not be an issue, but it was on earlier model 2nd gen trucks without sport headlights.

I checked it and there is power when the headlights are on. This is a 8 pin connector with 7 wires. I've attached better pics, I'm assuming they're to an option don't have. The frame attached connector they're plugged in to has pins that are tied together, like it's making a connection because I don't have whatever option it could be.

Joint connector 3 and 4. They are where they are supposed to be, and plugged in where they should be.

The two plugs that are just plugged into 'receptacles' on the frame or joint connectors. The part they plug into on the frame complete some circuits. They are where they are supposed to be, so, nothing to worry about.
