no, I think they suck. the dont look like they would get alot of air in them. here zeekxxx did a right up on it on his web site. convinced me. I love my K&N.

Ram air is a useless sales gimmick. Sorry, it just annoys me to see things advertised as "ram air". You have to be going 98+ mph in order for the ram air effect to actually occur. The only positive is that it gets cooler air into the intake. Not worth the extra money in my opinion, as most aftermarket intakes (like the K&N) position the filter quite a ways away from the motor in the first place.
The K&N FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) is the best one out there...no matter what the vehicle is. You can find them for around $200 on ebay (that's for the V10 intakes). I'm sure the V8 intakes cost a little bit less.

My own personal opinion [and I may be wrong] but most of the increases in power people see are due to the benefits of improved breathing for the motor. CAI is really a misnomer unless you interpret-man,I need to learn how to spell- it as "COOLER air intake relative to underhood temperature versus outside air temperature". No CAI is really a "cold air intake" until winter hits. Just my pet peeve on the subject of these things.
