Personally, I noticed a big difference with the tuner. I took it off over the summer just to mess around, and I couldn't drive the thing for more than a day. I enjoy the tuner very much from Hemifever, the fact that it is a code reader as well, works out to my advantage a lot of the time.

I also noted a difference with Hemifever SCT tune on regular, and there is definitely an improvement with 93.
I'm on 93 all the time.
