truck won't start on rainy days
I'm having a brain fart on what year my truck is....I think its a 1999 2500. Anyway if I let it sit for a weekend and it's raining when I go to start it it will only turn over and not start. If I let it sit and the next day it's nice out it starts right up
....I thought it was the coil so I changed today in the rain but it still didn't start. The only other thing wrong with the truck is that the bolts broke where the exhaust meets up with the manifold so its not connected right now...could that be letting too much moisture in?
Thanks for any help

Go out there when it is relatively dark, open the hood, and have someone give the engine a crank. Do you see a light show? Hear a snapping noise?
How old are your plug wires? Distributor cap? Is the seal between the cowl, and the hood still there?

Were it mine, here's what I'd do next time it refuses to start: Pop the distributor cap off, wipe it out with a dry absorbent cloth paying particular attention to the area around the terminals, then spray a bit of WD-40 (specifically that, not a substitute) in there and wipe it around, again being careful to get it all around the terminals. Then wipe and spray the rotor the same way, and button it all back up. If it starts, or if the cloth comes out colored black or grey, replace the cap and rotor.
