I *think* 93-95... or so.... had the balance weights on the torque converter..... if you have a manual trans, I would call your favorite place to order parts from, and have a chat.

heyyou where talking bout flywheels. not flex-plates although the toque converter i just took out has balance weights on it... the dodge parts manual gives the same part number for 94 and 98 years... part # 50-2754 should work.

That seems reasonable, can't see them putting weights on the pressure plate.

Does your truck even have the trans temp sensor? If it does, it would be on the forwardmost trans line, close to the trans. Check and see if it's there, if it is, is it plugged in?

If Im following you correctly, you ditched your auto for a standard. I did the same thing. Your pcm will throw trans temp, shift solenoid codes for the rest of time, unless you change pcm or have yours flashed to a standard trans pcm. It will not alter performance in any way, and will have no adverse effects. Also, earlier you asked if the 96 and older flywheel was different than the 97 and newer. The answer I believe is yes, and I understand it is because of the crank position sensor's interaction with it. The crank pos sensor changed from the obd1 and obd2 trucks (1997). Weather or not one generation will function properly with the other, I do not know.

hey you. yes it had the temp sensor in it... it also had factory lines without the check ball in it....

scooter. i droped a np435 in and the 97and newer flywheel works i just shimmed my crank sensor...

now the overdrive and temp codes... wile doing the swap. i noticed the wire harness had the plug for the clutch pedal sensor... it just had a plug with a wire looped back... now in theory i should be able to use a similar trick for the overdrive... being that i have an overdrive off switch... ?

for the temp sensor i guess i could just plug it in or make a port for it in the np435...?
