Default Replaced fuel pump, cranks, won't start

I replaced my fuel pump with an Airtek today due to my fuel gauge not working and guessing the previous owners never did. Primed the engine bout 5 times, and the truck started right up, but after about 2 minutes my truck starts idling rough then dies. Bled the lines on both the filter and vp44 and it would run for about a minute afterwards and die again. It is a 1999 ram 2500 24 valve. please help, I really don't want to pay for the labor to have it diagnosed as well as fixed.

are you gettin fuel up to the motor at all? i would hope so with a new pump, but airtek is known to have issues. everytime i have done anything o a diesel fuel related, you have to bleed the lines at the motor. im sure someone else will chime in soon enough

Gas engines are more forgiving, just priming the system a couple times should have done it.

If you prime some more, will it start/run?

The Airtek pumps are know to be pretty worthless, I would not be at all surprised if yours hadn't just died...... but... how much gas is in the tank?
