Transmission compatibility question
Okay, I have a 95 1500 2wd with a 5.2. Trans is from what I gather a 46RH. I know for sure it is a hydro valve body and not electronic.
What I need to know is what vehicles will have a transmission that will be a direct swap? 5.9 and 3.9 rams? What years? Dakotas?
Also, I have found a low mileage 95 Dakota, 2wd with a 3.9 with a good trans (engine knocking). Wondering if this will work? I don't see why not as the 1500 3.9 used the same trans?
