With a multimeter , ignition to on engine off , probe the middle with with the positive , ground off the negative . Ideal reading is 0.44 volts . You want it between the .4-.7 range . Higher does give better throttle response off the line . (can be tweeked) In your case , if I'm right , you will have low readings here . To further test the TPS , cycle it through the range to WOT while watching the meter . It should climb to an ideal 4.5 IIRC , or close to .

Both front bolt holes go all the way thru, and are outside the motor. If you don't have anything in there, some bolts and nuts will work just fine.

Ok. Sounds good. That's what I figured. I just gotta get back in there to do it : ). I always seem to pick the coldest time of year to do work so that might have to wait till spring.
