Default 01 dodge 2500 transmission repaired still same problem

Took my truck to local trans shop and ran codes. Came up gov press. Sensor and transducer and speedo sensor and o2 sensor. The truck cruises like normal but won't shift into next gear until I'm revving high or at least 35-40mph. Then its fine. Its like its jumping 2nd. Or I don't have 2nd gear. I replaced all the sensors that the codes showed. And new filter and fluid and the same problem. Is a band adjustment maybe in question? Or am I looking at a rebuild? First Dodge I ever had and I dont wanna regret the choice I made buying it. Please help. Yes I drove Down road And manually switched thru the gears and the same problem arose. So maybe its a rebuild needed.

Band adjustment wouldn't hurt.....

Did you replace the governor pressure sensor?

The inclusion of the O2 sensor in there kinda makes me wonder if it isn't an external electrical issue.

Could be as simple as a trans/TV cable adjustment on the throttle body . I had to tweek mine a little . No adjuster on the 96 , I bent the bracket a hair , hopefully the 2001 does . My 98 5.9 Jeep does . Hmm , wonder if my spare adjustable cable would fit ?

Check it for operation and make sure it's not sticking . Check the lever on the trans and make sure it's fully closed w/o throttle being applied .

Heyyou, I replaced the gov sensor and transducer(2000-up). Any idea what a band adjustment cost? Or can the intrigued diy guy do it?
The sensors replaced were: speedo sensor on trans. Gov. Transducer. Gov. Pressure sensor. And o2 sensor after the cat. New filter/fluid. I've replaced all the codes that came up. And unplugged pos. Cable to kinda reset the comp. Getting diacouraged

Onegoodmason, never messed with the TV cable on these trucks before as I know the shift points can be modified. Is there anything to look at specifically such as slack or tension or marring? How can I rule out the TV cable? Adjust it to firmer shifts or softer shifts?
