Default First Post and a Question

Correction this is my second post. This board has some great content and has already helped me in the last month on a truck I bought.

I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9 liter motor. None of the buttons on the steering wheel ( cruise control or horn ) are currently working.

Is there a fuse that powers the steering wheel?

Have a look at the fuse box and see.

No it is not. I wasn't aware the electrical connector in the steering column was called a clockspring.

Is this something that is a common problem with this model?

Does the light come on for the cruise when you push the button?

Horn has a fuse, Don't recall if it is under the hood, or in the side of the dash though. Does the relay click when you push the horn button?
