Yes you can bolt a 360 to your tranny. Now here are the BUT's
1) You will need the 360"s flex plate as the 360 is externally balanced and the 318 is internally balanced
2) You want to use a 96 or newer engine. You'll need the 360 PCM or get your PCM reflashed.
3) Depending on year injectors may take different plug. Both engines use same injector so you can swap.
Try doing a search on engine swaps. There are tons of threads about the subject. Also it helps if you put your truck info in your profile as it makes it easier for us to help you.

Ok just makin sure my 318 is startin to make noise an my buddy has a 360 out of a dodge ram I don't remember wut yr but it ran an I was just curious wut it would take to do the swap didn't kno if my flywheel would work an injection system would work or my trans but it sounds like it should?

Is that what is in my a nv 3500? My truck it has rebuilt trans an now my motor has started a knock I do believe in the bottom end.... I can get my hands on a 96 360 with the computer.... Wut kind of flywheel do I buy? The 360 Has everything beside the harmonic balancer....so I'd need a balancer an wutelse?
