Default 98 ram 1500 tire size question

Hello, Im new here so I have a question. I have a 1998 Ram 1500 with a 6" lift and stock 16 " rims. My question is...what is the largest size tires will fit on these stock rims. I would like to go with a 35, or something bigger than the 245 75 16 that came on it It just looks dumb. I do not think clearance will be an issue, Ive just heard conficting things as to whether or not they would work fit on stock rims width wise? Thanks!

35's with no problem. (just watch the width. most manufacturers will give you a range of recommended rim size.) 37's maybe..... but you might have a problem finding something narrow enough to fit the stock rims. (which I think are 7.5"??)

They are stock alloys if that makes sense. Im not looking for huge just want to fill the gap, if 35's would fit on these wheels I would be happy

Look like the stock steelies. (same as I have on my truck, but, mine have more lug bolt holes. )

Those I think are 7.5" wide.
