Default 4.10 gear install?

While I am upgrading or updating my 96 dodge with bigger tires and purchasing a hemifever upgrade to my V0 I am seriously thinking of installing a 4.10 is there anything I should be aware of or beware of ? I am going to be purchasing some gears I found on eBay unless someone here :-)
Thanks

Only one axle to deal with. Makes it MUCH cheaper.....

You probably have a D70 out back. Got LSD? If you don't, good time to upgrade.

Thinking of doing this yourself? If you haven't done gears before, I would suggest doing some SERIOUS reading before picking up a wrench. If you are going to pay someone else to do it.... it's not cheap, but, at least it comes with a warranty.

No I am not doing the rearend hiring it out but I did mention it was a Dana 60 just cuz didn't know any different.. what is LSD?
it is a stock rearend so I assuming a Dana 70

Secondly when looking for gears I need to be Dana 70
And in my drag racing days with a Dana 60 going to a 4.56 a different carrier was needed I assume this isn't the case now?

LSD is limited slip differential. Still an open diff but will lock with torque applied.

For D70 its called a powerlok.

I regeared my 70 but changed carrier completely to an ARB. Thread is here on the forums if interested. So can't answer the diff break but it can be searched on.

R&p will be roughly $250- 300
Master install kit roughly $130
If carrier bad or LSD then can do full replacement or partial. $300-400.

If carrier bad, I'd go to junk yard. Pay for LSD rebuild.
