Default Brake Problem

ok when I try to stop the truck quickly it doesn't I can stand on the brake pedal and still wont stop the tires dead. I have changed all brake pads and still nothing, didn't change a thing I they don't need a bleeding next stop is rotors or brake booster any ideas??

How much pedal travel do you get when you're standing on it?

Does the pedal sink, or is the feel of it spongy?

Does the pedal effort seem excessive during normal braking?

Getting the Brake warning light in the instrument cluster?

Did you turn, or replace the rotors when you did the fronts?

I had bad brakes for years and figured it was the larger tires and lack of 4 wheel disc (pads, rotors, and shoes all looked good.) Then I noticed one cylinder was leaking slightly so I had a shop replace both quick as I was heading on a trip the next day. WOW! Hasn't stopped like this since new. Cannot believe the difference. They must have been froze up for nearly ten years....

brakes don't feel spongy at all pedal travel is normal and no I didn't turn the rotors

Then I would suggest you pull them, and have them turned, or replace them, if they are too thin to turn. They are probably glazed, and nothing you do elsewhere in the system will make the least difference..... Your front brakes do 70% of the work....
