They are all pretty much the same. I would be more tempted to source them locally, so if there are any fitment/warranty issues, the store is right close, and no shipping involved.

Dealer should sell remans. 100 bucks if you turn your old ones in.

I got my calipers at NAPA and would definitely recommend them. They came pre-painted to protect them against rust, and I'm very happy with them.

When I got my calipers, I upgraded to 2500 Ram Calipers and Pads, and have been happy with the increased braking. Don't know if that's an option on the 2000 Ram though, since I think they came with dual piston calipers...

thanks for the info, i just got new wheels and the caliper is very close to the rim so any bigger caliper would have the chance of rubbing. any idea if aftermarkets (obviously not the upgraded kind) are the same shape and size?

The calipers that places like NAPA sells are re-manufactured stock calipers, so they would be the exact same size and dimension of your current calipers.

I picked up a set from Napa a while back and they did not look the same as the OE, they were lighter and looked cheap, I didn't keep em. Still using my originals. Good to know about the dealer reman swap.

I believe the 2000 and up trucks have dual piston front calipers? If that's the case, no easy upgrades for you, the older 2500 calipers won't fit.
