Default M1 intake

Anyone happen to have a m1 they're willing to sell? Got a buddy with the ever so common kegger issue. And if ya happen to have the accessory kit too, that'd be great.
Thanks for any help

Check the classified ads on this site, eBay and your local craigslist for a used M1 intake. I found mine used off my local craigslist. You can also solve the kegger plenum issue by installing the Hughes aluminum plate, gasket and bolts, which is a lot cheaper than an M1 intake and assessory kit.

I tried talking him into the Hughes fix and modding the kegger.... but after seeing my m1 he wants one too. I've searched kijiji and other sites (like craigslist in Canada) found nothing. Figured I'd ask here too, it's where I got mine from.

+1 - Yes, patience is required in finding the 5.9 M1 intake manifolds. I found two on my local craigslist and that was over the last 3+ years. I let the 1st one slip by me, but picked up the 2nd one I saw. The M1 for the 5.9 is no longer available new. Another option is to post 'wanted to buy' ads looking for an M1 on popular MOPAR sites like this one and others. Also, try using search sites like http://www.searchtempest.com/ to search multiple local craigslists within a certain mileage radius from your location. Sometimes, google can be helpful, too in your search.

That will be an expensive piece of aluminum to sit on top of an old stock engine in a heavy pick-up truck with a bunch of miles.

What's the point?

Is this a performance-oriented truck? I didn't see that anywhere.

Yeah, they ain't cheap if you buy one new..... hell, they ain't cheap if you can find one used...... but, there are very few options available for the magnum engines.... and this is one of them. (other is the hughes air gap, I don't think I have EVER seen one of those for sale used......)

But, with all that said, is DOES give the engine better mid-range power, and opens up a LOT of potential for later mods. After all, all mods build on each other. The sum of the parts ends up greater than what you think.

It will be a performance truck. Slowly he's trying to build it up. Hence the m1, along with a cam swap.

Don't do a cam without up grading valve springs.

And there's a lot better places to spend money on a stock motor than a cam.
