Default Differential Noise; Need more additive?

So does anybody know if Lucas Oil 80w-90 has enough limited slip additive (if any) for a 98 1500 2WD LSD Diff? I thought it had additive in it but my diff. seems kinda loud.

Thanks

I see nothing in it's description that indicates it has LSD friction modifiers.
Drain a little oil and add some LSD friction modifier... it's a lot cheaper than a new clutch pack.

I think it would have to be 4 or under. The 4oz bottle I have says 2-5% depending on oil weight.

More info on the noise would be nice. It may be your rear not the lube.

Don't really know how to describe it. I put 2oz in today (Seemed to reduce noise at steady speeds) and I'm gonna put another oz in tomorrow because I figured the bottle says 3-5% based on oil weight. So I did 75oz (Approx. how much oil is in there divided by 4% (I'm running 80/90, in the middle of 75/90 and 85/140 and the rest of the oils) and that came out to 3oz so I figured I needed about 3oz. I don't know if the Lucas had additive in it or not but based on that adding my own additive reduced noise a tad I would say that it didn't have any additive. Opinions

Alright, I'm just gonna give a general rundown of symptoms after changing rear end fluid. I'll try to get a recording of it tomorrow. ALSO.... I'll call Lucas tomorrow and see if they include additive in their oils, if so would you remove the fluid and replace it with just pure Lucas again so that I don't have too much additive. As I understand that can be a bad thing. If you can stay on anywhere from 10-20mins after commenting thats usually my reply time.

After change (Before extra additive)
  1. Jerks when accelerating
  2. Noise when going down the road and when taking corners

After change (After additive)
  1. Smoothly starts accelerating when accelerating
  2. Is *less* noisy
