Well i supose you could do it if you had enough room between the back of the block and tranz. There is a plug that goes in the hole at the back of the block. Any reason you are changing them? I just tore down a engine with 180K on it and the cam bearings where in great condition. They hardly ever need replacing.
MY bearings are fine, far as I know. I was asking for a friend. Not sure what his symptoms are. He just texted me and asked if it could be done. thanks for the replies.
