Default Thermostat which one

My V10 is blowing luke warm upper hose hot lower cold so I see there is stats available from 160-200 degrees a majority of driving is going to be in the summer and most likey getting the Hemifever upgrade what would be a good temp to purchase even if I dont to the "fever" upgrade

If you don't do the tuner, stick with stock temp. (195, I think) Hemifever, I do believe, recommends the 180 with his tunes.

Whichever stat you decide on, test it in a pan of almost boiling water so you don't install a bad stat and have to do it over.

You can run the 180* but you will notice a difference in the heat output in the winter. You are in Minnesota so you may want to keep the 195*.

I buy T-stats right from the dealer . Never an issue . 180's are ok for warm climates , I can't use them unless I want to switch out for seasons .

Avoid anything "Fail-Safe" !! If you boil a new one , you will see why , they stick open first shot . I tried one , never again ! Ive read hundreds of complaints since !

Stant seems to be the favored around here. I bought a Jegs which theoretically is supposed to be better and it stuck open for the first 2 months and then decided it was going to work. I'll replace it when I do my plenum. I put a 180° in which is fine if its about 30°+ but when it's freaking freezing outside I wish I had a 195°

The 180 gets me very cozy even when it's well below freezing. Having a regular cab probably plays part in it though.
